The register opens
Everything the project had learned by the end of August became a public page: studios, countries, languages, and the one number nobody else has — how many other people's sites carry a studio's signature.
The register went public with a deliberately narrow promise: every line here is either something we saw ourselves or something we attribute to a named source. Name, country, site language, and the count of signatures — that is all, and all of it is checkable.
Two decisions that shaped the site
Contact addresses are collected and not published. They are gathered to make contact possible, not to be handed out in bulk; publishing a compiled list devalues it and changes what this is.
No reviews, no scores, no editorial picks. The temptation to add «top-rated» is constant, because it is what every visitor expects from a directory. It is also the exact moment a register turns into an opinion column.
Who it is for
For the client who needs to know who actually builds in their country before they start asking around. And for the studio itself, which usually has no idea how many of its own footprints are out there — we have met studios with sixty signed sites who could name a dozen.
